Mentoring the Technical Professional (MTP)

The Mentoring the Technical Professional (MTP) is designed to empower highly motivated technical professionals to take the lead in their own professional growth and broaden exposure.


The Pathways Program is a three-year rotational program for entry-level professionals. Through three rotational opportunities, employees have guided intentional experiences to acquire a breadth of technical skills to establish a foundation in their career and develop business acumen.

Systems Engineering Associates (SEA)

The Systems Engineering Associates program is designed to accelerate the technical development for employees interested in a systems engineering career.

WEconnect – Women in Engineering

WEconnect increases engagement and retention among early-career female engineers through establishing a sense of community, equipping participants with foundational mindsets and skills to effectively navigate the organization, and cultivating lasting relationships with participants and program supporters.

WiSE – Women in Science and Engineering

Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) is a development experience for women in technical roles who demonstrate leadership potential. Through virtual face-to-face sessions, which include leadership keynote talks and panels, peer and leader networking, and focused skill building, participants will have an opportunity to gain education, experience, and exposure to develop key skills, make informed decisions about available career paths and build resilience for continuous learning and success at Northrop Grumman. Participants will also have an opportunity to collaborate on a technical action learning project, aimed at developing project management discipline, collaborating for collective success, and building their network.

WiSE 2.0 – Women in Science and Engineering

WiSE 2.0 is a development experience for senior technical women interested in pursuing the technical leader path. Participants will have an opportunity to grow and develop alongside peers through virtual face-to-face sessions featuring keynote speakers, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. Individuals will conduct research on a relevant technical topic under the guidance of a Northrop Grumman (NG) Fellow, and partner with an engineering leader who will provide support and exposure. As the capstone experience of this cohort, participants will have the opportunity to attend an industry conference to further expand their network and cultivate an outside-in perspective as they define their possible at Northrop Grumman.
